The Lord spoke to Pastor Raney about Valdosta and we came down from Indiana to look at the town. We decided it was the perfect place for us and we started making plans to move. It took us five years to make the move. We left houses, lands, family and friends and the church that Pastor Raney founded in 1962. We came to Valdosta, Georgia in 1979. Valdosta has grown from a sleepy little town, that had a law forbidding businesses to be open on Sunday, to a metropolitan area. We love it here and have been very grateful that the Lord sent us to Valdosta. You must live by faith, believing and trusting in the Lord. He has promised to take care of us. We could not see leaving our family and friends, but by faith, it has been everything that we could have hoped for, and more.
